Cooking sinigang recipe seems difficult, but a full time mother is never at the wit’s end. Indeed, Filipino recipe is something you never cook at home. However, sometimes, you need to make your dinner more various. This recipe below will make your family willing to have dinner at home. 

All Needed Ingredients

You will need pork ribs (2 lbs), or anything pork. Then, cut them into cubes. Prepare also boiling water (5 up to 6 cups), gobi/taro (5 small pieces), spinach leaves (1 bundle), fish sauce (1-2 table spoon). After you are prepared with all of the ingredients, let’s just begin the process.

Steps

First, pork needs to be boiled around 2 until 3 hours. When it becomes tender, it means it is ready to go to the next step. Just use a fork to check. Then, peel the taro. Get it into the pork while still boiling. Ensure you are not sensitive with taro. For precaution, you can use plastic as protection. 

So far, it should not be difficult to cook this sinigang recipe. The next step is to pour patis around 1-2 tablespoon. You can add Knorr Sinigang Mix to make it tastier. It is available in store. Last, you can now add spinach leaves you already prepare in the last 20 minutes for the entire process. 

Spinach leaves are optional. You can add kangkong or broccoli for greens. Kangkong is commonly available in Asian store. It is a good addition to get Asian taste regarding with Sinigang comes from Asia. Now, the food is ready to serve.
