  • Plain flavoured yoghurt
  • Cheesecloth 

How to Make Homemade Greek Yoghurt

  • Prepare a bowl; pour the plain flavoured yoghurt into it.
  • Cover the bowl with cheesecloth or coffee filter.
  • Place the bowl in a refrigerator for 3 hours or more until it is completely drained.
  • Greek yoghurt is ready to be used.

The Tzatziki Recipe Ingredients

  • Greek yoghurt, 15o g
  • Cucumber, ½ part
  • Olive oil, 1 tbs
  • Lemon juice (could be replaced with wine vinegar), 1 tsp
  • Mint leaves, dried or freshly chopped, 1 tsp
  • Salt, ½ tsp
  • Pepper

Cooking Instruction:

  • Peel and cut the cucumber, remove its seed, and then grate it.
  • Mix the grated cucumber into a bowl, add some salts and mix them all. Wait until the cucumber becoming drain for about 1 hour. Just wait until it does not have water anymore.
  • Combine and mix all of the required ingredients.
  • You may leave the tzatziki in your refrigerator for better taste. Don’t forget to place it on a sealed container.
