Ingredients:
- 1 ½ pounds ground beef
- 10.5 ounce (1 can) condensed French onion soup
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp flour for all purpose
- ¼ cup water
- ½ tsp mustard powder
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
How to Cook Salisbury Steak:
- Mix 1/3 cup of condensed onion soup with bread crumbs, ground beef, salt, egg and black pepper in a large bowl. Mix well until it can be shaped into patties. Make six oval patties with this mixture.
- Heat up the skillet with medium heat and bring the patties into brown for both sides. It will be better to let the excess fat comes out. Leave it.
- Blend the remaining canned onion soup with flour until smooth. Add water, ketchup, mustard powder and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour into the meat in skillet and cook for about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
