Ingredients:
- Vegetable oil, 2 teaspoon
- Chopped garlic, 1 teaspoon
- Fresh ginger, half teaspoon, grate it all
- Soy sauce, half cup
- Water, half cup
- Dark brown sugar, 2/3 cup
- Beef, 1 pound, sliced thickly into ¼ inch
- Cornstarch, ¼ cup
- Vegetable oil, 1 cup
- Green onions, 2 bunches
How to Cook
- Heat the vegetable oil in your sauce pan, set your fire on medium heat.
- Cook your garlic and ginger until you could smell their fragrance. Stir them occasionally for 30 seconds.
- Add water, brown sugar, and soy sauce, raise the fire heat.
- Stir them all for about 4 minutes. Wait until the brown sugar dissolved.
- After the sauce mixture boils, remove it from your stove.
- Prepare a large bowl; put the sliced beef into it.
- Pour cornstarch to the beef until coated. Wait for about 10 minutes until the meat juices have been absorbed.
- Prepare your wok or skillet, heat some vegetable oils into it with 190 degrees Celsius heated oven or microwave.
- Add the coated beef into the skillet until looks brown and perfectly cooked, remove them.
- On different skillet, mix the fried beef with the previous sauce; don’t forget to add the green onion.
